The beer is good. The good was a mix - fish and chips pretty good, chicken fingers pretty bad, quiche was fine. The service was friendly even though the person who helped us was solo and very busy.
In the heart of the town, where the streets wind and twirl, Stood Brian Boru, an Irish pub with a whirl. Its sign was inviting, its charm was so grand, But beware, dear traveler, for here's what I've planned. Inside this fine establishment, a tale to be told, Of food so atrocious, it leaves you stone-cold. The bartender, a chef with tricks up his sleeve, Serves frozen delights that you won't believe. In the depths of the freezer, his treasures he finds, Frozen nuggets and fries, the lowest of kinds. With a flick of his wrist, into the air fryer they go, And out comes a meal that's a terrible blow.
Stopped off to enjoy a few pints on labour day in the sunshine, not sure how long we was there and how many we drank but had a fantastic time, staff were lovely and friendly. Cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat there, beer was great and was a decent price, great place would recommend to anyone 👍
Best Irish bar in Bergen City centre. I didn't have food so can't comment on that. Service was excellent (very pleasant and helpful Dublin barman). Good selection of beers and Guinness is top quality. Was there twice - once to watch football and the second to sit outside and soak up some rays. Would go again
Nice day to sit outside, extra table and chairs brought out for us. Had a couple of beers and cider & got a hotdog from truck on street, made a couple new friends…
Nice local pub to hang out and watch football. They got pints for a good price for norwegian standards. Fries cost only 55 crones. So good for a snack. I loved it.
Stopped in for a beer (or few). Keith was working the bar and was very friendly and handled the tourists well. What is the difference between a real and fake Irish Coffee? He knows how to do a proper pour and has a great attitude. Stop in and say hi and have a pint. Edit: Back for more. This time we got the fish and chips (with beer). REALLY good.
Great little pub, very friendly and open at lunch. Food is excellent, "small plates" - the Fish & Chips are especially outstanding, and the Ham & Cheese Toastie was also very good. Bergen was out of Guinness when we were there in Aug 2023, but other than that we enjoyed our experience.
